Your Property, Our Priority

We are passionate about providing our clients with excellent customer service; from our straightforward booking system, to the final reports and support thereafter. Compared to some firms, we offer a good turn-around time for our reports as we ensure that we do not carry out numerous surveys in a day. We aim to give the inspection and report writing the necessary time and attention required, to ultimately ensure an excellent service is delivered for your property.

Our slogan is, ‘Your Property, Our Priority’, and we very much stick to those values, as we were founded upon the strive for quality over quantity within residential surveying. We are experienced and specialise in RICS Level 2 and Level 3 Home Surveys, Private Valuations including Help to Buy and Shared Ownership, New-Build Snagging Surveys, EPC’s (Energy Performance Certificates) and Drone and Camera Pole Surveys.

We are both knowledgeable and experienced in the geographical areas that we cover, and our surveys are always carried out by an RICS-accredited surveyor and registered valuer.

We serve areas within: Cambridgeshire, Northamptonshire, Lincolnshire, Bedfordshire, Leicestershire, Rutland, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire, Norfolk, and Suffolk.

RICS Tech Partners

The reporting software we use has been developed by RICS tech partners.

We also have the paid licenses for the RICS Level 2 and 3 Home Survey reports, rather than using homemade templates.

These features help to ensure that your report is both detailed and easy to understand.

Property Specific

‘Property Specific’ is a term often used within surveying, to convey the importance of ensuring all information provided is relevant to that specific property. We ensure that your needs are met by choosing the most suitable service, which can help prevent you from overpaying on a Level 3 survey for instance if a Level 2 is considered to be appropriate.

As an independent family-run company, we do not have to worry about overloaded diaries to meet targets that in turn may compromise the quality of our reports. We ensure that all the information within your report is not just specific to your property, but is necessary to be within the report. Each individual report is specifically tailored to the subject property and is proof-read prior to sending. Unnecessary jargon and caveats can often cause confusion, particularly if some phrases are not relevant to the property itself. Providing clarity via the means of property specific information is a must, and enables you to make suitably informed decisions regarding the most expensive purchase of your life.

We enjoy speaking with our clients, and this is not restricted to just solely before or after the inspection! By putting forward any information or questions you have regarding your property, we can ensure that those concerns are addressed. We find that clients benefit from post-inspection conversations in particular, to help their understanding of the reports. Other parties such as estate agents and solicitors also benefit from us doing this with our clients, so that they are not then sent numerous questions and concerns that we can otherwise answer or help to provide that necessary reassurance. Do let us know if you wish to discuss our services, or indeed your report in further detail!

Modern Technology

We can utilise modern technology, such as drones and camera poles with cameras where necessary and possible, to ensure that crucial and expensive elements of the property, such as roofs and chimneys are adequately commented on. Simply regarding a ground-level inspection as a limitation does not provide clients with the information they need regarding such areas.

We have experience within the company of carrying out over 1,200 new-build snagging surveys for private customers and large developers. This sets us apart from other surveying and even new-build snagging companies, whereby we have experience in thermal imaging heat loss inspections, as well as the use of borescopes to inspect cavity wall insulation, or the lack of! Our experience and knowledge of such types of inspections will help ensure that building developers can rectify issues urgently, whether that is pre-completion or post-completion inspections in line with guidance from the New Homes Quality Board. You do not then have to worry about continuously providing the snags you come across, rather can be more concerned about what colour you are painting the walls and where you put the TV!

Bookings can be made via our quotation form, or by email and telephone. We will respond promptly and ensure that we help you choose the most suitable type of inspection for your property requirements. We keep you regularly updated throughout the booking process, and as mentioned, our service to you does not end when the report is issued.
